What is the Kickstart Scheme?

The Kickstart Scheme is a Government programme that provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. It will give young people the chance to build their confidence and skills in the workplace, and to gain experience that will improve their chances of going on to find long-term, sustainable work.

How does it work?

The Kickstart Scheme will provide you with the guidance, support and learning needed to succeed. Whilst on the six-month programme you will go through our skills Builder pathway with training on a variety of topics including, teamwork, communication, public speaking and many more.

Can I apply?

Yes, of course. we are pleased to announce we will be taking part in the Kickstart Scheme and have created 42 placements across our organisation for those aged 16-24 to join us.
