Would you like to improve your digital skills to access online services and build your confidence?
Places Homes are working in partnership with ‘We Are Digital’ to deliver FREE learning, from the comfort of your own home. We are offering customers up to 3 x 2 hour, remote 1-2-1 learning sessions with a qualified tutor.
Our learning sessions are:
- 1 to 6 hours of free individual support
- Safe contact-free sessions by phone and video
- An experienced tutor will talk you through the whole process
- Perfect for beginners who have no or limited digital skills
You will learn how to:
- Video call family and friends — Skype, Zoom calls
- Book GP appointments and request repeat prescriptions online
- How to shop or bank online
- Manage your home online — making payments, checking your balance, reporting repairs etc.
- Stay safe online
The learning will be based on your needs and you can agree this with your tutor. As part of the first session your tutor will give you telephone support to help you set up and get started.
